Notre Dame Career Fairs
The University of Notre Dame’s Career Center hosts two major career fairs each year:
Fall Career Expo (September 5, 2018)
Market your jobs and internships to undergraduate and graduate students from the Colleges of Architecture, Arts & Letters, Business, Engineering, and Science in one convenient venue.
The Career Center provides and hosts on-campus interview space for employers to schedule and interview students on the day after the fair. Please be sure to request that you would like interview space on the registration form. One interview room is guaranteed with registration; companies can register for the event in Go IRISH.
Winter Career and Internship Fair (TBD)
The Winter Career and Internship Fair is held annually toward the beginning of the spring semester. This fair offers a wide variety of opportunities and industries for students to explore. Undergraduate and graduate students from all colleges and majors are encouraged to attend.
Participating companies may also attend the Diversity & Inclusion Networking Reception held prior to the Career Fair. Companies can register for the event in Go IRISH.
Mendoza Full-Time Recruiter Kickoff (September 5, 2018)
The Mendoza Recruiter Kickoff is held on the same day as Notre Dame’s Fall Career Fair and provides companies with a great opportunity to engage with graduate business students. The kickoff is a high-energy “meet and greet” event that allows you to interact with MBA students in a more informal environment than the Career Fair. Participation in this event will not preclude your attendance at the Career Fair.
The Recruiter Kickoff is FREE for all employers that register for the event and space is limited. Employer check-in begins at 10:45 am, students attend between 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, and a light buffet-style lunch is served from 1:00-1:30 pm. Contact Jim Cunningham for more information.
Mendoza Internship Showcase (November 15, 2018)
Companies interested in recruiting first-year MBA students for internship opportunities are encouraged to participate in the Internship Recruiter Showcase. The event will begin with a fast & fun, Ignite-style session that gives recruiters stage time to tell their stories and highlight internship opportunities. A networking reception will immediately follow.
Just-in-Time Recruiting: Day in the Bay / Day by the Lake Interview Forums
The "Day in the Bay" (San Francisco, CA) and “Day by the Lake” (Chicago, IL) Interview Forums are designed to connect hiring companies with MBA talent from 11 leading MBA programs. These events provide companies with an opportunity to meet and interview pre-selected candidates without having to travel to multiple schools.
These events are open to all organizations interested in hiring MBAs for full-time and/or internship positions, regardless of current recruiting status with participating programs. Participation in the event is FREE, but there is a $250 cancellation fee if cancellation occurs after submitting closed lists.
Benefits of these events include the following:
- Broad Talent Pool: Review resumes from 11 top MBA programs
- Just-In-Time Hiring: Interview in April for summer internships and full-time positions
- Pre-Selected Candidates: Create an interview schedule that fits your talent needs by selecting candidates from a resume drop prior to the event
- Easy Recruiting: Let someone else worry about scheduling interviews and recruiting logistics; the Interview Forum team will create your schedule for event
- Career Development Support: Connect with career development professionals from leading business schools to discuss recruiting strategies and your organization's talent needs
- Networking Breakfast: Network with candidates for any open interview slots you have
These events are generally held in late March/early April; details for the 2018 events will be posted when available.
